Beer of The Year! 2019!

Wow, here we are, halfway through 2020, and I realized I never wrote a BEER OF THE YEAR post for 2019. I didn’t write one for 2018 either, but now, it’s definitely too late. That’s okay. This beer deserves SO much honor, I love it SO much, that it’s possible it would have been my Beer of the Year for 2018, too.

Drumroll please….

Beer of the Year 2019 (and 2018)

Let’s talk about how much I love this beer. It’s light, it’s crispy but soft, it’s refreshing and flavorful. It pops in the mouth like champagne and combines delicate sweetness with complex earthiness in an immensely drinkable beverage. It’s packing a hard-to-believe 6.7% ABV in what tastes and drinks like a 4% summertime beach beer. I would drink this beer anytime, but it heralds the beginning of warm weather and streaming sunshine.

It’s hard to believe a beer this classy comes in a can.

Other honorable mentions from the last two years…

• Spell It Write from Non-Sequitur Beer Project
