Hey hi hello and welcome back to the recurring Friday feature, Instagreatness. 

Today the heat has finally broken in NYC after a full day of rain yesterday, and while it's certainly a relief, the gloomy skies overhead hardly feel like something to celebrate. So here are a few shots from Instagram to remind you that sometimes the glowering, soft, gray light from a foggy, overcast sky is even more beautiful and dramatic than stupid-ass, power-tripping sunshine.
